Word from the Founder ~ Tonya Grimes
 I remember the first time I was attracted to writing. I was in
fifth grade with Miss Allison. She had written part of a story
on poster board and our job was to finish it. We did this every
Friday and I sure looked forward to Fridays---not because the weekend
was coming, but because I got to finish the stories Miss Allison
started.
My love of telling stories and writing was fueled even more when
I became an elementary teacher in a public school and a Sunday
school teacher at church. I got a thrill out of watching my students
become enthralled as I shared my stories. Of course these stories
always had a point---always a valuable life lesson!
That's why Heritage Dolls was born---to give little girls the
pleasure of reading Bible stories and understanding how the Scriptures
can apply to their daily lives. Of course, it's so much more fun
to play with dolls that can help make the word of God come to life!
I know
first-hand how God's word changes lives because it changed mine
forever (yep---clear into eternity.) It is my prayer these devotionals
and dolls will be shared by many generations within your family.

Esther had some urgent news to reveal to King Xerxes—someone
